Recommended Addons:

Tomtom - A waypoints program, ties in to lightheaded. (Waypoints are marks on the map showing you where to go)
Lightheaded - A great addon to your quest log. gives you tips on quests and if you have tomtom allows you to mark your map on where to go to do quests.
Auctioner - A program that has tones of things to help you with auctions. I can love or hate it based on the day.
Fubar - A wonderfull addon that allows many modules to be plugged into it to do things such as watch your addon usage, Recommend where to quest, keep track of bags and gold, moniter DPS, give you a estimate on time till your next level, exc.
Bunch of bars - Gives you a health and Spell meter on the right that works much better than the bliz group and raid options.
Gatherer - Marks your map where you farm minerals and get herbs. Sends the location to the guild. Great for coming back latter, making a quick run, and then off to other zones.
Autobar - Another great addon that gives you a button bar for most of the non combat actions you take, freeing up those Bliz bars or leaving more room for more combat actions
Omen - Threat meter, A must for raiding (aka required)
Pawn - Lets you assign values to stats and then any time you mouse over a object you get a score on it, making a quick evaluation if its better than what you have or not. (Recommended before assigning values look into theory craft)
Quartz - A great addon for managing combat
Sell Junk - Sells junk all at once when you get to a merch *aka grey items* cleaning your bags fast
Deadly Boss Mobs - Gives you raid info

Recount is a great addon for watching your DPS and comparing it to your raid members. Also watches Heals, exc. Really handy.
